1st February 2019 – Inaugural noise.pocket gig
A newly-formed performance collective I’m part of, noise.pocket, is having their first gig on the 11th of February in the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s Ledger Recital Room. I’ll be performing Gregor Forbes‘ Expressive Commentary alongside new work by Harry Gorski-Brown, Matthew Grouse and Zakia Fawcett.
29th January 2019 – GEMS Commission
I was commissioned by the wonderful Glasgow Experimental Music Series to write a piece for their final concert of this season. It’s called with commentary (first attempt) and is being premiered at The Project Café in Glasgow on the 9th of February.
25th October 2018 – WFxS:TWO
I’m performing at this cool-looking event alongside a bunch of dead interesting artists. 5th of December in The Old Hairdressers, Glasgow.
13th September 2018 – ‘Quiet is the thought of you’ performance
My piece for piano trio, Quiet is the thought of you, has been programmed in a Glasgow Experimental Music Concert Series gig on the 3rd of November in The Project Café. It will be performed by Gregor Forbes (piano), Emma Pantel (violin) and Justyna Jablonska (cello).
25th June 2018 – oop, sorry
I just released this track I’ve been sitting on for like a year and a half. It was going to go on an album that i’ve been intermittently working on for ages but it’s been done for so long and my ideas for the project as a whole have changed loads so I decided it should be it’s own thing.
12th June 2018 – Recovery: I Am the Sum of the Parts
Me (spoken word) and Harry Gorski-Brown (live electronics) will be performing an improvised set as part of Zakia Fawcett’s exhibition Recovery: I Am the Sum of the Parts on the 20th of June in the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
8th June 2018 – many beg. (first attempt)
I will be conducting the first performance of my new piece many beg. (first attempt), as well as playing cello in Juta Pranulytė’s ‘x’, in a concert in the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s AGOS Studio on the 19th of June.
29th May 2018 – Eden Festival
I’ll be performing at Eden Festival with Oxtered to the Bothy on the 7th of June, doing some rap and spoken word stuff. Their set is at 8PM in Rabbie’s Tavern.
5th May 2018 – Edinburgh Festival Fringe (again)
I’m making another show for the Edinburgh Fringe, as part of PBH’s Free Fringe. I’ll be performing it everyday from the 4th to the 25th of August at 12:05PM in Daylight Robbery. This year’s show (currently untitled) will be a mix of hip hop, songs and spoken word with video throughout.
21st April 2018 – VP Premiere
VP, my new piece for violin and piano, will be premiered by Harry Gorski-Brown and Pan Yicheng in a recital given by Harry on the 5th of June in Stevenson Hall, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Absolution Request Form will receive its second public outing in the 11th instalment of the INTER concert series, taking place in Stereo, Glasgow, on the 27th of this month.
13th February 2018 – RCS New Music Collective Gig
Quiet is the thought of you and Elephant On The Wall will both receive their second public outing in the upcoming concert by the RCS New Music Collective on the 16th of February in the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s Ledger Recital Room.
10th December 2017 – Glasgow Performance of ‘Struggle With Purpose’
I’m putting on a gig at Stereo on the 18th of January 2018 where I’ll be performing my 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Show – Struggle With Purpose. Bobby Kakouris and Josiah & Ludwig will also be performing sets on the night.
23rd October 2017 – Last Futures
I will be writing some music for a large-scale music theatre piece entitled Last Futures which will be performed in Tramway, in Glasgow, on the 18th of March 2018.
1st April 2017 – Gig with Tony Morris and Cucina Povera
I’ll be performing my piece A whole night, as well as James Saunders‘ ‘the range of outside factors influencing it, as well as its own radius of action‘, at Tony Morris‘s gig, Triumvirate, also featuring DJ Cucina Povera, at The Flying Duck on the 26th of this month.
21st March 2017 – Walter and Dinah Wolfe Memorial Prize
I am pleased to announce that I am the recipient of the Walter and Dinah Wolfe Memorial Prize 2017 and, as a result, my piece you won’t find it here will receive its premiere in the 9th concert of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s PLUG festival, on the 12th of May, performed by Scott Mitchell and the RCS Staff and Graduates Wind Quintet.

A new piece of mine for ensemble and laptop will be premiered during the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s annual new music festival, PLUG, on the 9th of May.
28th February 2017 – Edinburgh Festival Fringe
I’m very excited to announce that I will be performing a run of 22 shows at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe as part of PBH’s Free Fringe. The show’s called ‘Struggle With Purpose’ and will mostly feature my songs and spoken word stuff and it’ll take place in the Back Lounge of Pilgrim Bar at 17:30 every day from the 5th to the 26th of August.

Elephant On The Wall has been programmed in the eight installment of the INTER series, taking place on the 17th of January 2017 at Stereo, Glasgow. I’m very grateful for INTER’s existence and their continuing support of my work.
9th December 2016 – Sounds Unbound
I will be diffusing Absolution Request Form live in its first public outing, during the ‘Sounds Unbound’ concert taking place in the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s Chandler Studio Theatre on the 9th of January 2017.
5th December 2016 – Free Breakfast for Children
Fellow CalArts composition student, Addae Jordan, has kindly invited me to be a guest on her radio show, Free Breakfast for Children, on the student-run CalArts radio station, KCIA. The show will be from 6PM to 9PM (PST) on this upcoming Wednesday, the 7th of December, and will be streamed live here and available to listen to here post-broadcast. I look forward to playing and discussing my music and its influences.
4th December 2016 – Premiere of Quiet is the thought of you
Quiet is the thought of you is a late addition to tomorrow’s concert, Faith like a guillotine, taking place in The Wild Beast concert hall at the California Institute of the Arts. It will be performed by the same ensemble who recorded it last month; Vicki Ray (piano), Erika Duke-Kirkpatrick (cello) and Jonathan Tang (violin).
19th November 2016 – Premiere of Semblance (in gratitude for my selfishness)
Sid Samberg will be giving the first public performance of Semblance (in gratitude for my selfishness), the second movement of A box of hammers, in the Roy O. Disney Concert Hall at the California Institute of the Arts on the 21st of this month, as part of the Undergraduate Composers’ Concert Series.

My piano trio, Quiet is the thought of you, has been selected to be recorded by the California Institute of the Arts’ resident new music group, The Ensemble, on the 14th of November.
13th June 2016 – CalArts
My exchange application to the California Institute of the Arts has been successful and I will be beginning the third year of my undergraduate degree there, studying from September to December of this year, on their BFA Composition course.
1st June 2016 – INTER #6
I Long for My Cradle to Splinter will receive its second public outing on the 10th of June at Stereo, Glasgow. The gig is the 6th installation of Stereo’s INTER series, which previously programmed my piece A Proposition (in two movements).
